Having seen the Malathedra screenshots and videos, would you as a developer consider licencing the S3Engine 1.0 or 2.0 for authoring your games?

Greetings all,

I'm going to be using this thread to brainstorm some general ideas and get community feedback on certain aspects of our new engine. This is also a good place to ask general questions about the S3Engine capabilities.

There will be other threads that deal with specific aspects.

So, I guess I should first explain what the S3Engine 2.0 is:

The S3Engine 1.0 (the engine that The Lost City of Malathedra is being developed on) is our first engine to use an entirely data-driven design, the executable is a sealed program that reads a local boot.settings file which configures it with information; external data files, such as scripts, images, sounds, maps, and sheets are used to construct the game.

The new S3Engine 2.0 builds off of these same concepts, however it is paired with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE); this editor allows us to build the entire game within it, and it exports a data binary which contains all of the code and resources for the game. The new engine exe reads this single data binary and configures itself for the game the data describes.
