I've got through all the gates, back upstairs and beat up his legions then he transported into the dark area in the lowest crypt (room with the dials). I can't find my way to him.

You killed him, I guess you were too powerful to even notice as you squashed him like a bug Very Happy

He's standing there with balls of fire dancing all around him.

I heard no trumpets blaring and no fan fare.

Can't even sit on my own throne.

You mean that's all there is?

Yeah, don't recall squishing him.

Out in the forest I killed his minions and backed off to load up on mana and life potions. Slinked back and he was gone!

I seriously thought he ran off like a coward. When I found him down in the crypt I thought he was laying in wait to attack or raise up an army of the dead (as those still running loose upstairs) or perhaps to get the manna well from the source. (well cap is one level up remember).

But seriously, what am I to do now?

Hmm, maybe I'm misunderstanding; I thought you were talking about the lost prince in the underground.

You're saying you went out the front gates, into the courtyard, and then you left the scene, and he was transported down into the crypt?

We are talking about the end boss, yes? You've purified the mana well already?

That's very weird; my guess would be try and reload a previous save game and don't run back into the castle. I've never experienced that before lol.

Yes Raymond,

I backed off a distance to recoup my power levels and reserves, after killing the majority of the little men. Wanted full resources before fighting the End Boss.

Lightening like effects and he transported away!

Well is purified. Have one man upstairs stuck with some enemies because I never did find the item of 'value' they wanted.

That's all I can recall I've left undone. Can't find my way to the big black expanse in the lower crypt even after going through the maze part.

Never used the stone with some writing on it which Morning couldn't read either.

I dont' have a saved version but the one where I am stuck!

If you can't revert I'm not sure there's much you can do.

You will find a cache of mana/health potions just outside the gate, more than you could need.

I'm not sure why you were worried about resources though,
after 2 or 3 Flare Radiation Phantasma Radiation Ion Radiation spells, you've pretty well cleared the courtyard. Have 1 or 2 mana potions,
walk outside, and clear the bigger little guys with 3 spells, and then
have another 3 mana potions, , and just spam the last guy, keep 4
mana and 4 health potions on the quickbelt, and just spam spell him.

I didn't even think ahead enough (during that playthrough) to hang on
to the extra spell damage + artifacts, so if you thought that far ahead, all the better.

Morning is still in her armor and can't sit on the throne. No fan fair, no victory walk and no one to attend her in her castle.

Did you see the last cut-scene?
I think that pretty well explains what happened.

She did get some victory smack-talk to the Captain of the Guard, that was excellent.

What have I missed - big black expanse ? - a stone with writing on it - is that the Dark stone "Seeing eye Orb" - where the hell is it - I've gone through each section again looking for this and it's driving me nuts - I assume the orb lets you see things you can't normaly

I can't be 'positive' but I believe the 'seeing eye orb' was a puzzle that got cut from 'map 10', so you might be searching in vain.

As for getting through the dark expanse, there is a way, and the reward is great Very Happy

When you get down there, you hear that moaning, and it made it sound like there is something cool down there.

But then you run into 5-7 segmendradas, and the rest is clicking through mazes to find the watering can and a couple of potions.

Those mazes drive me bonkers.

Now i'm intrigued, maybe there is something else down there?
