I've seen a few posts on various boards which say the codes are random or different from play to play. Since I personally programmed them, I can assure you they aren't

But the process of opening the elemental gates is a bit difficult to figure out.

but the color to symbol matching is the correct process.

The posts on this forum have really brought me back, it's amazing how much time has gone by since MW was released.

Couldn't figure out at 1st and then clicked for the combo's for the gates - nice puzzle indeed The other 3 doors were a snap - it's just remembering where you seen the other 2 hehehe

Grrr, I am stuck at these gates! I have tried using some of the combos found throughout the castle but nothing happens. Please don't tell me my save is corrupt, I don't know when the last time I backed it up is.

Can someone give me a hint on how to open some of these gates?

I think I've managed to open 6 of the gates.

It's been a while since I've been in there, or updated my FAQ.

I'll have to get back in there. Of course, I've rebuilt my machine
since last time, but with my notes, it shouldn't take long to zip
through again.

I'll put the gate codes I have in the FAQ this time around.

Sweet. It is good to know that I was just doing something wrong and not a random spot of bad luck. I have had enough of that with water and my computer, especially when they come together.

Bah. I just reinstalled GameTap and find that Morning's Wrath has gone premium, so I no longer have access to it. Hard to update the FAQ without access.

The FAQ that is up now is as up to date as the copy on my desktop.
I poked around the desk at home, but wasn't able to find any of the
gate data, just a few maps that I had drawn up. I'll look some more.
I know I have a map of the dial chamber (I'm way out of practice and
don't have the room names in immediate recall anymore) with the
combinations marked. Just need to look some more.
