I've just submitted a very primitive FAQ for Morning's Wrath to GameFAQs. (www.gamefaqs.com) It should be availble for
viewing in a few days.

Yes, there's not a lot there. I've start another Morning so that I
can start recording important information. This was my first FAQ,
so don't expect too much, but at least there's going to be
something out there.

Woo hoo, my first FAQ is up on GameFAQs.

http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin ... 31251.html

It's still pretty content-lite, it just has a little explanation of controls, equipment, experience, potions, and spells. Kind of high level stuff. I started on the full walkthrough, with a new save, even though my maxed save still hasn't finished. But I'll put more in as I write it. It may not be much yet, but it is something.

Crimson, I've just finished the game and if you need any help with the FAQ I'd be happy to supply it. It's too good a game not to have a complete FAQ about it.

Thanks, I appreciate the support.

The lack of the complete FAQ is mostly due to a lack of time at this point. I plan to do another update this weekend, which still won't be a full walkthrough, but will have more material and correction that the last one.
(and I still need to finish the game, but thanks to Raymond's info, I have figured out the element gates stuff)

I've been typing out all of the opening sequence dialogs, and writing them down, and then typing them out has been whittling away at my patience.

I'll let you know if I need any assistance. Thanks again for offering.

Two suggestions to the faq: don't bother with the text of the conversations, just make note of where they are. And the agility stat is explained in the forum.

If possible can you add some general tips to the faq or forum?

ps: make sure to add your info on the equipment modifiers.

Yeah, I think I came to the same conclusion, thanks.
The conversations were driving me crazy.

The Agility information was posted after the first post
of the FAQ, which is why the information wasn't in there.

I still am missing 3 modifiers, if I remember correctly, and I will add
general tips. I started mapping out everything. At least for all of the
important pieces, as I found it a little easier.

I'm just level grinding my new Morning so that she will be maxed out
on stat points before I start picking up the quest items. That way I
can tie the quests to the key item, and where it (they) is (are) located.

Thanks for the support.

I updated the FAQ, there isn't much more walkthrough than before, though I filled in information about Agility and the Eq Modifiers, and it
has info on the Bellman's quest. And a note that you will end up with
2 extra artifacts.

You rock CrimsonDagger.

(Can I call you Crimson?)

edit: Anyone who hasn't already, bookmark this guide. Incomplete, but very helpful.

Thanks, and Crimson is fine. And I've made another update to the FAQ.
It's still incomplete, but it has notes on all of the underground quests
except for the tomb. (I still haven't found the last code in game, I know
about the 4 gates, and the study, and behind the warlord on the second
floor, but I'm still missing one. I ran all over the place, and still haven't
found the last code.

Yay, version 0.0.3 is up. More quest info, a partial list of artifacts, the
weapon modifier list is only missing 1 piece now. Still a long way to
go, but many of the pieces are there.

Well done so far crimson dagger!

Morning's Wrath sure has a lot in it, reading your FAQ brought back some good memories :D

While it's not offical yet, we are starting to investigate the production of Morning's Wrath 2, which will be developed with the S3Engine 2.0

In our development's we're trying to retain a lot of the story feel, and fun aspects, and improve upon areas such as control and performance.

Graphically it will be on par with The Lost City of Malthedra, and probably better given the new 'hike' in engine technology.

I'd better not say anymore until things are a lot more firm :)

Thanks for all the great work you've done with the FAQ!

-Raymond

Once again, Crimson, you rock. You don't really need to have "walkthrough/FAQ prose" if you don't want to, (just mention it at the beginning) and what you do have is great.

As for Morning's Wrath 2, all I can do is drool over the prospect; and wish that I could get The Lost City of Malthedra...

chaostraveler:

Hehe, Malathedra is coming; we just had to move our office so things have been a bit scattered lately. But just before we moved we had actually started making the Malathedra Demo so that should tell you how close we are.

Morning's Wrath 2 has been a bit of a dream of ours ever since Morning's Wrath was released, for the past... (2?, 3?) couple of years we've been dreaming of where Morning's path would go next.

It's going to be exciting to dust off the old project and start rekindling the MW world; as well as starting to see some of it in much higher (Malathedra Like) resolution.
