If you had to choose, which view do you like better for adventure games?
2D Isometric 3rd person (morning's wrath, sanitarium, etc.) 50%  50%  [ 2 ]
2D Static Background 3rd person (lucasarts and most sierra adventures) 50%  50%  [ 2 ]
2D First person (myst, the 7th guest, etc.) 0%  0%  [ 0 ]

I'd like to have a poll and discussion about adventure game views, that is the view in which an adventure game is played. I'm a big fan of both 2D Isometric (like morning's wrath, or sanitarium) and 2D static background (lucasarts and most sierra); I'm not a big fan of the new 3D dynamic views for adventure games. Thoughts? 2D first person, 3D first person?

I take back what was previously written here and state this:
I like all types of games in the poll (when they are done properly) but I feel quite partial to the 2d iso games as they never get old and there are an infinate number of ways to make 2d games that are great ( and, unfortunately, crappy).

2D Isometric 3rd person for me.

I've never been that big of a fan of first person in adventure games, 2D or 3D. I prefer to see my character. First person in other genres are quite alright ;).
